I heard that the Western-style restaurant #Isshintei, which is currently being rebuilt, is operating a temporary location at the share house #BorderlessHouseAsakusabashi near Asakusabashi Station, so I went to check it out. I ordered the three-color rice dish, which has omurice, curry, and Hayashi rice on one plate. The Hayashi sauce was incredibly rich; next time I'll stick to just Hayashi rice. The photographs of the third-generation owner, #TakeoAkiyama, have been published in several books, but his photos capturing everyday life around Asakusabashi are truly captivating. The streetcar runs along Edo-dori, lined with shops and wholesalers, and the vibrant daily lives of the residents are captured in these images. While the original Isshintei is under reconstruction, the gallery of the adjacent architectural firm displays some of Akiyama's photographs, historical tableware, and considerations for the new building. @plus.base #Yanagibashi #marutakeplace

The second floor is the BORDERLESS HOUSE office, and the other rooms are BORDERLESS HOUSE Asakusabashi 1. It's a share house where you can live with a variety of people and fulfill your desires. In terms of location, Akihabara Station is the nearest terminal station. The elevated JR line runs relatively close by, and the noise and vibration of the passing trains might be a concern for some people (trains run from 5 AM to 1 AM).

While the restaurant temporarily closed for reconstruction, "Isshintei" is operating in its place. (They are currently running a crowdfunding campaign to reopen.) The three-color rice is like a childhood dream! The curry, Hayashi rice, and omurice are all delicious in their own way. Thank you for the meal.
